The “concert depth” body is slightly thinner than the body on a Hummingbird Standard, giving it a leaner, tighter bass response that sits perfectly in the mix and also makes it easier to hold.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe utile neck is attached to the body with a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint, and like all Gibson acoustic guitars, it is affixed with hot hide glue. The neck has a comfortable Round profile, and the rosewood fretboard has a 12” radius and features pearloid parallelogram inlays, which is one of the visual hallmarks that make the Hummingbird easily recognizable.
