Back in 1989...
It was kind of a crazy idea way back in 1989 when Guitarworks first opened. A store with only… guitars? But several decades later, we have grown to 3 brick and mortar stores, all located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and all dedicated to all things guitar. If you are here, you are probably just like us. We are you and you are us. Guitar lovers and enthusiasts and nerds. Some of us play in bands. Some of us play alone. We all play.

Yeah, we ride our moose to work on the maple syrup highways of the Great White North and we're proud of it. We strive to have among the best selection of guitars and related products available in Canada. Not to toot our own horns but we are frequently recognized as a top dealer in Canada by many of the brands we carry, including national sales awards from Fender, Gibson, Martin, Paul Reed Smith and Yamaha.
