Shipping policy

Canadian Orders

Free shipping is offered with minimum $200 CAD purchase to almost everywhere in this Great White North. Canadian orders below $200 CAD will be charged a flat $14.99 CAD shipping charge.  In very rare circumstances, such as oversize/overweight items or destinations designated as “Beyond Point” by Canada Post and/or other courier services, shipping fees may need to be added after the order is placed but before the item(s) ships.  In these cases, the client will be contacted to discuss options and no charges will be applied until client agrees. 

We ship nearly every order within one business day of receiving it.  Items will be shipped via the best method balancing cost and transit times.  Methods can include Canada Post Expedited Parcel, Canpar, Purolator, UPS and Fedex.

All guitar and amp orders are shipped signature required.

Typical transit times for shipments are as follows:

• Alberta – 1-2 business days
• British Columbia , Saskatchewan, Manitoba – 2-3 business days
• Ontario, Quebec, Northwest Territories, Yukon Territories – 4-5 business days
• Maritimes - 6-7 business days 

We can ship via other courier services or with a Priority service for faster delivery at client request.  Additional fees will be applied.  For inquiries please contact sales@guitarworks.ca. 

US Orders

All US orders will be charged a flat shipping rate of $60 CAD.  Certain oversize items are not eligible for $60 flat rate shipping to US, including 412 cabinets, full drum kits and pianos/keyboards.  

We ship nearly every order within one business day of receiving it.  Items will be shipped via the best method balancing cost and transit times.  Methods can include Canada Post Expedited Parcel, Canpar, Purolator, UPS and Fedex and the client will receive an automatic shipment notification email with the tracking number when the shipment is created.

Most US orders arrive in 5-10 business days.

International Orders

While guitarworks.ca is not currently built to automatically calculate shipping costs to all countries, we can and do ship internationally.  For an international shipping quote, please contact sales@guitarworks.ca.

Duty

Products made in the US or Canada can pass between the countries duty free per the terms of the North American Free Trade Agreement, so there is no duty for US orders when the purchased product(s) are made in the US or Canada.  When customs/duty is applicable, the customer is responsible for these charges.

All shipments are insured by Guitarworks.
