Performance Inspection and Setups
We want to make sure that our customers are completely satisfied with every instrument, amp or pedal purchased from us. That's why we include a comprehensive 5-step Performance Inspection with all purchases. Every item is tested to make sure it is fully functioning and setup within the acceptable range according to the factory spec or our manufacturers. For customers with more specific personal preferences we offer a full custom setup option to get the maximum playability from your new instrument.
Setup Options
Included Performance Inspection
Our full 5-Step Performance Inspection is included with every guitar and amp purchase and covers everything below. For a more customized full guitar setup, please see the Full Setup info to the right.
1 - Overall visual inspection for any damage or imperfections.
2 - Inspect and test all parts/hardware/mechanical functions including machine heads, trem system, knobs, pots, etc.
3 - Test all electronics (where applicable).
4 - Tune to pitch and play test - checking for acceptable action height, any buzzing, intonation issues, and sharp frets. Make necessary adjustments if any problems found to ensure factory spec setup.
5 - Final polish and clean and pack product in the same packaging with the same packaging material that it was shipped to us with.
Full Custom Setup
The full setup option allows us to customize the instrument to your specific preferences according to your playing style for optimal playability. Full custom setup can include any/all of the following:
-Restring with your choice of brand/gauge strings
-Adjustments of truss rod, nut, and saddle height to achieve specific action height
-Complete intonation test with possible fret adjustments
Additional customizations are available, including pickup changes, at additional cost. Contact us to add additional requests. We will contact customers who have added Full Custom Setup to their order to discuss preferences. Please ensure you have also added your preferred string set to cart if change of string gauge/brand is required.
