2018 Ibanez KIKO10BP Premium KIKO Loureiro - Transparent Gray Burst W/Bag

Good used condition signed KIKO Loureiro Premium. The guitar shows signs of play and use such as polish cloth swirl, light pick brush marks between pickups. There are  a few very light scratches and a couple of small dings on the back along with some very minor rash. None of these are glaring and barely stand out in normal light and viewing conditions, but they must be noted.

The original tone pot appears to have been switched out with a very low friction pot for fast action ,otherwise it appears all original.

Guitar weighs 6lb 3oz

Includes non original aftermarket gig bag.

Description:

The KIKO10BP is a solid body electric guitar introduced by Ibanez in 2017. It is a Signature guitar of Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro of the metal bands Angra and Megadeth. The KIKO10BP is made in Indonesia alongside the Premium line.

The KIKO10BP is based on the S series although it has a thicker body with a flat back and special relief on the lower horn in the rear. The body is alder with a flamed maple top. The output is a tilt-positioned jack on the side of the guitar rather than on the face like a typical S series guitar.

It has custom DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers with coil-split functionality flanking a single-coil. The custom neck has a rounder profile than the traditional Ibanez Wizard profile with with titanium reinforcing rods and a 24-fret panga panga fingerboard. A special abalone inlay at the 12th fret is inspired by native Brazilian designs. The bridge is an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo.

FEATURES

Deeper Cut Horn
KIKO's unique scoop cutaway at the back of the body allows even easier access to high frets from any angles.

DiMarzio KIKO original Pickups
Kiko plays a wide range of music, from metal to jazz fusion, and the pickups were designed to reflect this range of sound. The neck and bridge pickups both humbuckers have medium output and a balanced sound in terms of frequency response. The single-coil middle pickup is more powerful and warmer-sounding than a typical vintage single-coil, in order to balance well with the neck and bridge pickups.

Edge-Zero II Tremolo
Lower profile designed tremolo for playing comfort, and stud lock function for stable tuning.

Tilt-in Jack
Tilt-positioned output jack on KIKO10P holds guitar cables securely.

Recessed control knobs

Coil-tap switch on volume control (Neck and Bridge pus)
