2007 Kramer "1984" Striped Series Reissue w/Case

This Kramer 1984 is in mint condition — it was kept in a display case and never played. The iconic red, white, and black 5150 stripe graphic is pristine, and the "5150" lettering on the lower bout is clean and intact. The neck is free of wear, the frets show no signs of play, and all hardware — including the Original Floyd Rose tremolo, Schaller tuners, and locking nut — is in perfect working condition with no corrosion or oxidation. Electronics are fully functional.

Includes the original Kramer black hardshell case with gold Kramer logo (case has minor exterior rub marks but is otherwise near perfect), the original Kramer 1984 booklet, and straplocks. Weight: 8 lbs 9 oz.

The Kramer 1984 Reissue was produced from 2003 to 2007, assembled in the USA under the Gibson/MusicYo umbrella, and it remains one of the most sought-after recreations of Eddie Van Halen's legendary 5150 guitar from the early Kramer era. This is the version that serious EVH collectors look for — built before the shift to the later "The 84" model with its different pickup and revised specs.
The formula is beautifully simple: a lightweight alder body in the Kramer Pacer Special shape, a one-piece hard maple neck with walnut skunk stripe and oiled finish, a single Gibson-made 84T humbucker mounted directly to the body, and an Original Floyd Rose tremolo made in Germany by Schaller. One volume knob with a push/pull function for coil splitting. That's it. No pickup selector, no tone knob, no unnecessary anything — just a straight-ahead, high-output rock machine built the way Eddie intended.

The 84T pickup was custom-made by Gibson to recreate the characteristics of the original Kramer/Van Halen-era humbucker, and it delivers a hot, articulate tone with plenty of bite for high-gain playing. The Original Floyd Rose (not the 1000 Series found on later models) is a meaningful distinction for players who care about tremolo quality — this is the real deal, German-made unit.
